The Finnish seaport's wheeled freight traffic was almost evenly split between imports and exports - 63,977 (+18.4% year-on-year) and 62,057 (+18% yoy) ro-ro cargo units, respectively.
The port also took care of 3,353 TEUs (+1.3% yoy).
A total of 2.45mt (+12.2% yoy) went through Turku's quays last year, 2.38mt (+14.1% yoy) in international and 68.7kt (-28.8% yoy) in domestic traffic.
The ongoing coronavirus pandemic cut away two-thirds (-65.1% yoy) of the port's passenger traffic (1,094,847).
