The Hamburg-based Jacob Jürgensen Wood has already long-term rented the new facility.
In total, the Port of Kiel offers now 85k m2 of shed ground area, of which 20k m2 is allocated for storing Russian forest products. Last year, over 82k m3 (+38% year-on-year) of sawn timber products were imported from Russia via Kiel.
