With 222.4k TEUs (+6.3% year-on-year), almost half of the company's transports took place within Russia.
Export traffic came in second, totalling 129.4k TEUs (+2.0% yoy), followed by imports (+17.4% yoy to 96k TEUs) and transit containers (+13.4% yoy to 44.3k TEUs).
As such, the company enjoyed a 42.5% share in the Russian rail container market at the end of 2019's first quarter.
At the same time, TransContainer's terminals took care of 335k twenty-footers, more by 19.1% on the result from Q1 2018.
