The Swedish seaport marked its new all-time high in ro-ro traffic.
"The key to our continued positive development is that we work closely and together with our three shipping companies to develop the traffic and can thus be efficient and provide the best service. We want to continue to be Europe’s best ro-ro port," Jörgen Nilsson, CEO, the Port of Trelleborg, said.
"The new decade has just begun and Port of Trelleborg looks forward to exciting years ahead," he continued. "The expansion and relocation of the port to the new area in the southeast is in an expansive phase, the ferry berths no. 13 and no. 14 are expected to be ready in Q2 2020 and at the same time the construction of the ferry berths no. 11 and no. 12. will start."
