The New Silk Road to expand towards Latvia

The heads of the Latvian Railways and China Railway have signed a letter of intent foreseeing the set-up of a regular train service between Latvia and China.

According to the intention of both parties, the first train would be sent from China to Latvia by this year's end. Moreover, the companies have agreed on working together regarding marketing activities, as well as coordinating their cooperation with shippers.
