Klaipeda's Quay No. 66 - reconstructed

The facility, to be operated by the Klaipeda-based stevedore BEGA, has been completely renovated, receiving a new quay wall, pavement, as well as a railway.

The approx. EUR 4.0 mln investment is part of upgrading BEGA's agrobulk terminal, which currently has 4.0 mln tn of yearly handling capacity, 300 thou. m3 of covered storage space, three rail and road loading stations, grain cleaning and drying equipment, as well as quality testing laboratories.

BEGA's quays Nos. 67 and 68 will be renovated, too, being the Port of Klaipeda's first to offer 16.5 m of water depth.
