Stena Line's Gdynia-Karlskrona link: 86,866 cargo units carried in 2012 (+7.3% yoy)

In 2012, Stena Line has also carried 469,516 passengers on the route (+8% year-on-year) as well as 86,256 pax cars (+9.3% yoy).

Global Ports: 1.63 mln TEU handled in 2012 (+8% yoy)

GP’s sea terminals in the BSR (Petrolesport, VSC, Moby Dik, Multi-Link terminals in Kotka & Helsinki) handled altogether 1,628 thou. TEU in 2012.

Eckerö Line: 155,469 passengers carried on the Helsinki-Tallinn link in I-II 2013 (+81.7% yoy)

From January to February 2013, the company also carried 18,746 pax cars on the abovementioned link, marking an increase by 78.2% year-on-year.

Port of Primorsk: 6.12 mln tn handled in I 2013 (-12.5% yoy)

The largest Baltic port (in terms of annually handled tonnage) marked a decrease by over 877 thou. tn (-12.5% year-on-year) in January 2013.

Big Port of St. Petersburg: 177,668 TEU handled in I 2013 (+4% yoy)

The largest container port on the Baltic made its first step towards a new box record, as the port handled 177,668 TEU in January 2013 (+4% yoy).

Port of Klaipeda: 3.95 mn tn handled in I 2013 (+7.4% yoy)

Due to the increase, the Lithuanian seaport in Klaipeda overtook Big Port of St. Petersburg which handled 3.86 mln tn in January 2013 (-3% yoy).

Tallink: 21,541 cargo units carried in II 2013 (-4% yoy)

In February 2013, Tallink transported 632,376 passengers which is more by 0.7% year-on-year compared to February 2012.

Port of Gdańsk: 186,014 TEU handled in I-II 2013 (+62.1% yoy)

From January to February, the Polish Port of Gdańsk noted a rise in almost every cargo category, giving a final result of 5.32 mln tn (+71.1% yoy).

Latvian Railways: 60.6 mln tn carried in 2012 (+2% yoy)

The increase was caused by growths in imports – by 2.7% to 49.73 mln tn, and in national traffic – by 19.8% to 1.43 mln tn.

Rail freight traffic in Lithuania: 49.38 mln tn carried in 2012 (-5.6% yoy)

At the same time, rail’s performance went down by 6.1% year-on-year to 14.17 bln tonnes-kilometres.
