EUR 5.5 bln to be taken from Fehmarnbelt project

Femern A/S is inviting contractors to the Industry Day on 21st March to examine four major projects that are set to arise from the construction of the 18 km tunnel under the Fehmarnbelt between Denmark (Rødbyhavn) and Germany (Puttgarden).

The European Commission (EC) plans to reduce noise produced by vehicles, since the World Health Organization estimates that traffic related noise accounts for 1 mln healthy years of life lost in Western Europe.
