BTJ 1/16 - Report: Baltic transport 2015 highlights

The past 12 months did not exactly abound with mind-blowing events. However...

... apart from fears brewed in the SECA pot (which low oil prices put a lid on pretty fast), nobody really expected any spectacular ribbon-cutting ceremonies, game changers or horrors to suddenly emerge across the Baltic Sea in 2015.

But it would be false to say that the region drifted through last year without its fair share of developments, like the EUR 700 mln worth LNG terminal in Świnoujście, as well as aches and pains, particularly containers dying out in thousands due to the ongoing economic war between the West and Russia.
