G6 Alliance will start one month earlier

The G6 Alliance is going to launch its first six services between Asia and North Europe one month earlier – in the first week of March.

The seventh service will follow when favourable trade conditions appear. The link will provide direct coverage to the BohaiBay ports in Dalian and Xingang.

The Baltic Sea is included in the Loop 3 service, covering ports of ShanghaiNingbo – South China – Singapore – Tangier – RotterdamBremerhavenGdańsk – Gothenburg – Jeddah and Honk Kong.

Additionally, the G6 Alliance will launch a new Asia-Black Sea Express Service (ABX) in the beginning of April. The rotation will include ports of NingboShanghai – South China – Hong Kong – SingaporePort SaidAshdodIstanbul – Constanza and Odessa.

Loops serving Japanese ports will commence after completion of consultations with the Japan Harbour Transportation Association and labour unions.

The G6 Alliance is a joint venture of the New World Alliance (APL, Hyundai Merchant Marine, MOL) and of the Grand Alliance (Hapag-Lloyd, NYK, OOCL).
