The event will be divided into two parts: 29 October will be devoted to meetings of the Baltic Ports Organization's Environmental and Offshore Wind Energy working groups, while 30 October will see the conference tackle issues such as the role of ports in EU's energy transition (incl. offshore wind development) as well as as hubs for new energy carriers and for carbon capture & storage, decarbonising the port sector, and alternative fuels for shipping (green hydrogen, LNG, methanol).
