Grain turnover shot up by 99.6% year-on-year over 2020's first quarter, up to 524.1kt, followed by liquid bulk the handling of which rose by 7.7% yoy to a total of 1.24mt.
On the whole, the Polish seaports took care of 7.91mt (-6.9% yoy), including, apart from the above-mentioned, 4.25mt of general cargo (-4.0% yoy) - out of which freight brought on-board ferries accounted for 3.36mt (-4.0% yoy) - 885kt of other dry bulk (-10.9% yoy), 727.6kt of coal (-18% yoy), 257.5kt of ores (-62.7% yoy), and 25.6kt of timber (-68.5% yoy).
