Time-wise, developing a port has never been an easy task.
Investments take years to complete, during which one cannot be absolutely certain how the market situation will unfold, not to mention situations like the coronavirus pandemic, posing a serious threat to the global economy including the demand for manufacturing and, therefore, ports serving heavy-duty freight flows.
We're talking with Douglas Heilborn who heads the industrial port in Oxelösund about COVID-19, about what it means to be an "All Inclusive Port," and how it'll develop in the short- and long-term, with a particular focus on the liquefied natural/biogas terminal.
