While Canadians are turning containers into leisure devices (Your very own sea/spa - in a container / The Sauna Box), KTZ Express has transported by rail a set of 226 box-based mobile homes for a prefabricated 280-bed-big infectious diseases hospital set up near Almaty.

It took three days (faster than initially expected) to ship them from Opornaya to Burundi.

In addition, Kazakhstan Railways, the mother company of KTZ Express, has also helped local authorities in combating the coronavirus pandemic; its staff took part in disinfecting streets and areas around train stations.
