Apart from setting a new record in the amount of coal exports, the Port of Ust-Luga-based terminal also handled last year its largest ship ever - the 180k dwt 282 metres long Navios Pollux.
In total, 340 vessels were served at Rosterminalugol (283 in 2016). At the same time the terminal took care of 343k railcars (252.34k in 2016).
The average shipload rose from 63.8kt to 72.5kt (Navios Pollux alone took in 128kt).
