International freight traffic totalled 3.46mt (+4% year-on-year), while cabotage added the remaining 20.7kt (-35.4% yoy).
Unitised cargo traffic amounted to 2.93mt (+6% yoy), out of which wheeled (ro-ro) totted up to 1.95mt (+6.3% yoy) and containerised - 978.7kt (+5.6% yoy).
The turnover of dry bulk contracted by 16.8% yoy down to 348.1kt.
More break-bulk went through Helsinki's quays, an increase of 20.5% yoy up to 175.4kt.
A total of 153,289 ro-ro cargo units (+2.4% yoy) was taken care of.
Container traffic summed up to 125,073 TEUs (+5.9% yoy).
The passenger business continues to be heavily affected by the coronavirus pandemic. A total of 374,498 ferry travellers were served (-79.4% yoy), along with 116,829 private vehicles brought on-board ferries (-55.9% yoy).
