Out of the total, Bremerhaven handled 29.2mt while Bremen 6.03mt.
Some 2.59m TEUs were taken care of, an increase of 11.1% year-on-year.
At the same time, 934k vehicles were handled (+34.4% yoy).
Commenting on the results, Dr Claudia Schilling, Senator for Science and Ports of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen, said, "It is particularly satisfying that in some areas, throughput has now actually exceeded the pre-Corona figures."
