Liquefied natural gas (LNG) has emerged as a safe, scalable, and commercially viable marine fuel with increasing availability and expanding infrastructure globally.
The shipping industry is taking note: DNV figures suggest that a total of 250 LNG-fuelled ships could be added to the order book this year.
While these vessels will be sailing soon, vitally, they provide a seamless pathway for adopting bioLNG and, later, synthetic LNG.
