Whereas liquid bulk turnover contracted by 3.9% year-on-year to 40.32mt and that of general cargo by 5.2% yoy to 1.8mt, the handling of dry bulk rose by 15.6% yoy to 37.9mt.
Counting 15t per one truck, trailer and railcar, the Russian Baltic seaport took care of 54,486 ro-ro cargo units, 4.9% up on the January-September 2020 figure.
At the same time, Ust-Luga's container traffic decreased by 42.4% yoy to 22,980 TEUs.
