The St. Petersburg-located facility of TransContainer took care of 294k TEUs in road (+21% year-on-year) and 178k TEUs in rail traffic (+9% yoy; in total over 1,200 block trains, +9% yoy).
The company's two other major inland container terminals also advanced their turnover last year.
The Kleshchikha terminal in Novosibirsk Oblast handled 532k TEUs (+7% yoy): 289k TEUs in road and 243k TEUs in rail traffic, both increasing by 7% yoy. The facility took care of 639 block trains (+5% yoy).
TransContainer's rail terminal in Zabaykalsk on the Russian-Chinese border saw a 4% yoy increase to 198k TEUs brought onboard 1,500 block trains (+23% yoy).
