Dry bulk turnover advanced by 31% year-on-year to 896.3kt, that of general cargo by 33.1% yoy to 302.3kt, whereas liquid bulk lost 6.5% yoy down to 84kt.

The Latvian seaport's wheeled (ro-ro) traffic increased by 40.3% yoy to 208.2kt (which translates to an estimated 10.3k units).

Liepāja's passenger traffic also went up - by 55% yoy to 6,919 ferry travellers.
