If you think that beaches without modern gadgets like mobile phones or wi-fi are boring, you are so wrong.
The postcard from the Sellin village on the German island of Rügen shows a forgotten attraction from a summer in the early 1920s - a floatplane is boarding passengers for a short flight.
This was the really great "Badeleben!" The depicted plane D.402 represents class LFG V 13 "Strela" made in Stralsund and was withdrawn from usage in 1932.
