The Swedish seaport also took care of 137,925 passengers last year, up 9.3% on the 2020 figure, plus 38,841 pax vehicles in ferry traffic (+18% year-on-year).

The Port of Karlshamn handled 5.3mt in 2021 (+5.4% yoy), including 2.74mt of general cargo (+10.8% yoy), 1.81mt of liquid bulk (-9.7% yoy), and 748kt of dry bulk (+37% yoy).

The port also started handling containers, a total of 1,120 TEUs in 2021.
