Overall, the Danish seaport took care of 5.3mt over this year's first half, an increase of 7.5% on the H1 2021 result.
"The great progress shows that the Port of Aarhus has a strong market position, which many companies choose to use for both imports and exports. We are of course happy about that. It also means progress for Aarhus, East Jutland, and the rest of the country. However, due to the uncertainties in the global economy right now, we expect the development to be more flat for the rest of the year," Thomas Haber Borch, the Port of Aarhus' CEO, commented.
