The hefty growth comes from the other dry bulk segment, which rose by 76% year-on-year to 2.26mt.
The Swedish seaport also took care of more containerised freight, an increase of 80.6% yoy to 56kt. TEU-wise, 4,960 twenty-footers went through Oxelösund's quays (+56.4% yoy).
The port also handled 403kt of iron ore & steel products (-13.5% yoy), 169kt of liquid bulk (-45.7% yoy), 87kt of wheeled (ro-ro) cargo (-19.4% yoy; 3,185 ro-ro cargo units, -37.9% yoy), and 37kt of forest products (-47.1% yoy).
