The four seaports - Stockholm, Kapellskär, Nynäshamn, and Norvik - handled 4.62mt over 2022's first half (+3.2% year-on-year).
Wheeled (ro-ro) cargo topped the turnover with 3.54mt (+0.3% yoy), followed by dry bulk (+2.1% yoy to 445kt), forest products (+19.4% yoy to 301kt), containerised freight (+20.4% yoy to 171kt), other general cargo (+2.3% yoy to 88kt), and liquid bulk (+184% yoy to 71kt).
The ports' ferry passenger traffic rose by 170.5% yoy to 3,000,101 travellers. The ferries also carried 422,612 private cars (+53% yoy).
The Ports of Stockholm's vehicle logistics segment noted a 0.7% yoy downtick, handling 12,214 new vehicles.
