Alike in the case of Russia's overall rail container traffic, transits rose the fastest - up by 69.9% year-on-year to a total of 126k TEU in 2017.
Domestic shipments amounted to 903.7k TEU (+4.3% yoy), followed by 432.1k TEU exported (+20% yoy) and 315.5k TEU imported (+30.4% yoy).
In addition, TransContainer's terminals handled 1,294k TEU last year, an increase by 5.2% yoy.
