By serving 595 vessels with an average shipload of 1,087 TEU, the Container Terminal St. Petersburg (CTSP) noted last year its new throughput record.
Imports rose by 14.8% year-on-year to 288.8k TEU (incl. 68.2k reefers, up by 32.4% yoy), whereas exports went up by 15.8% yoy to 354.9k TEU.
According to the company, CTSP held 32% of the Russian Baltic container market end-of-year, the highest figure among the country's terminals in the region. Country-wise, CTSP held 14% of the market share at the end of last year.
