Liquid bulk, the Swedish seaport's leading trade, advanced by 4.7% year-on-year to 112kt.

Södertälje also took care of 90kt of forest products (+1.1% yoy), 33kt of dry bulk (+32% yoy), and 28kt of containerised freight (-9.7% yoy; a total of 2,899 TEUs, -19.5% yoy).

On the wheeled cargo side, 17,941 cars were handled (+33.4% yoy) and 61 ro-ro cargo units (+110% yoy).
