Swedish Maritime Administration and Sea Traffic Management Validation Project

A new project, building on the Sea Traffic Management (STM) concept, will further improve the efficiency and safety of ferry traffic in archipelagos between Finland and Sweden.

It will also make the ports of Rauma and Gävle some of the first in the world to implement STM into their harbour and hinterland operations.

The project has a budget of €4.5m and is financed chiefly by the EU.
