While dry bulk, the Latvian seaport's leading trade, advanced by 4.4% year-on-year to 2.26mt, general cargo contracted by 11.3% yoy to 812.9kt and liquid bulk by 20.1% yoy to 140.3kt.
That said, wheeled (ferry cargo) traffic advanced by 0.9% yoy to 643.4kt.
Also, more passengers went through Liepāja's quays, up 10.3% yoy to 28,936 ferry travellers.
