Ferries serving the Swedish seaport also brought 162,124 private vehicles, a 17.7% year-on-year increase.

At the same time, 449,492 ro-ro cargo units went through Trelleborg's quays (-2.9% yoy), including 435,811 trucks & trailers (-4.2% yoy) and 13,681 railcars (+67.9% yoy).

The port also handled 644 commercial vehicles (-29.8% yoy).

Trelleborg's total cargo turnover totted up 6.6mt over this year's first half (-3.5% yoy).
