The effects of climate change are increasingly evident across the globe, with a strengthening trend of frequent and severe weather events causing widespread disruption.
In 2024, the average global temperatures will exceed 1.5°C, with the United Nations projecting averages of 3.1°C this century on the current trajectory.
These temperature trends increase erratic weather conditions - including hurricanes, heatwaves, floods, and fires - which will rise in frequency and ferocity.
