GoLNG - a project within the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme that's focused on the development of demand and accessibility of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in line with the EU Clean Fuel Strategy and the EU Directive on Deployment of Alternative Fuel Infrastructure - recently held a conference and a study tour.
The three-day meeting, which took place on-board Fjord Line's LNG-run cruise ferry Stavangerfjord on 10-12 April, tackled a plethora of gas-related issues, including various types of bunkering, details concerning daily operations, and establishing a viable LNG supply chain.
The event gathered about 100 stakeholders from various organisations from all over the world. The key sessions were centred on regulatory and business matters
The conference culminated with a number of B2B matchmaking meetings, networking dinners, and a study tour into the inside of the venue's engine room.
