Tonnage-wise, the Swedish seaport took care of 1.1 million tonnes of containerised freight, up 5.3% year-on-year.
Helsingborg also handled 2.38mt of wheeled cargo (-7.8% yoy; that's 190,510 ro-ro cargo units, -8.3% yoy), 290kt of dry bulk (+21.8% yoy), 188kt of liquids (-4.6% yoy), and 40kt of forest products (-37.5% yoy). In total, the Swedish port made 3.99mt (-3.1% yoy).
With 2,912,443 passengers, Helsingborg's ferry traffic advanced 2.1% on the H1 2024 result (though fewer private vehicles were brought on board the ferries, down 0.1% yoy to 467,866).
