More and more companies in the logistics industry are required to provide detailed evidence of their carbon footprint.

At the same time, differing systems and isolated approaches are hindering urgently needed transparency across the entire supply chain.

This is where an initiative by the Open Logistics Foundation comes in: the Working Group Enabling Logistics Decarbonisation (WG ELD) sees the key to success in an open-source standard for exchanging emissions data - and is driving its development forward.
