Whereas the handling of both liquid and dry bulk contracted by 17% year-on-year to 765 thousand tonnes and by 9.0% yoy to 2.03 million tonnes, respectively, general cargo advanced by 31.2% yoy to 5.1mt.

At the same time, the Danish seaport welcomed 2.47 million passengers in domestic ferry traffic, up 0.5% on the January-September 2024 result. Aarhus also saw just over one million private vehicles going over its quays (+2.0% yoy), plus 6,423 ro-ro cargo units (-3.2% yoy).
