While the handling of both dry and liquid bulk rose, by 12.9% year-on-year to 1.45mt and by 44.2% yoy to 280kt, respectively, general cargo saw a decrease of 20.2% yoy, down to 1.0mt.

The Latvian seaport's container traffic contracted by 13.6% yoy to altogether 70,194 TEUs.
