Measured in tonnes, containerised freight totalled 465.8kt in the reported period, that's 6.8% more on the result from January-May 2017.

Overall, Kaliningrad's general cargo traffic amounted to 1,637.8kt (+2.0% year-on-year).

At the same time dry bulk totalled 2,820.3kt (+8.5% yoy), while liquids 1,592.8kt (+31.6% yoy).

In total, the port made 6,050.9kt over this year's first five months, noting an increase by 11.7% yoy.
