Surely our sector's favourite watchdog, the European Court of Auditors (ECA), has recently published a new transport-focused report - on EU investments in the Western Balkans to connect the region to the bloc's Core Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T).

While this one doesn't curdle one's blood like the one on EU mega transport projects, it provides insights into whether the European Commission (COM) knows what it's doing when pouring hundreds of millions of euros into infrastructure - this time outside the EU's borders.
