Port of Rauma
Ports have always had a significant role in making sure that trade runs as smoothly as possible - be it globally, regionally, or locally. In Finland, for instance, nearly 90% of exports and 80% of imports are transported by sea.
But in order to hold ground firmly in the face of global competition and market fluctuations, ports and industries dependent on their performance must supply the best services to keep up with the demand.
That's why both the port authority and the Finnish branch of Euroports, a Dutch terminal operator, recently finished a few smart investments, which made Rauma's logistics chains even more advanced and open to new opportunities. What's more, the way is being cleared for other growth projects.
