Handlings of other major goods rose across the board, too, including oil products (+4.9% yoy to 6.28 mln tn), coal (+106% to 3.21 mln tn), and ro-ro cargo (+7.5% yoy to 1.04 mln tn).
Ventspils' passenger traffic increased over 2017's first half as well - by 19% yoy to 91,751 ferry and cruise travellers.
