In terms of tonnage, the amount of rail-bound containerised freight that went across the country's network in 2018 totalled 17.02mt, up by 15.9% year-on-year and accounted for 6.51% of the whole market (+0.39 percentage points).

Transport performance rose as well, by 13.9% yoy to a total of 6.16b tonne-kilometres. However, that didn't change the share intermodal transports have overall as regards transport work, which stayed at the level of 9.87%.
