The European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO) released its latest annual report for the 2017-2018 agenda, with fiscal and environmental issues taking centre stage.

The report covers actions undertaken by a few of ESPO's committees that tackled some of the most contentious challenges on the docket in the European maritime sector such as the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF II), the implementation of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T), the never-ending Brexit conundrum, and progress in maritime security and digitalisation.
