Finally! The four-masted barque Parma has her own stamp!

Many windjammers owned by Ålanders were depicted on stamps, the famous ill-fated Pamir by a number of post offices, while others, the preserved in the US Moshulu for instance, by the Dominican philatelic office only.

In the period from its beginning in 1984 till the first issue of the Sailing Ships series in 2015, the Åland Post released three stamps portraying oceangoing sailing ships of Åland owners.

What's more, this horrifically small collection includes no more than two ships - twice Pamir and Pommern, the latter harboured for eternity in Mariehamn as a museum.
