Three new Konecranes rubber tyred gantry (RTGs) cranes have been delivered to Container Terminal Saint-Petersburg (CTSP) which will use the new equipment for container handling at its rear yards.

The RTGs have 50t of lifting capacity, and can stack containers 5+1 high and 7+1 wide.

They're also equipped with DGPS Autosteering for keeping straight driving path and additional laser sensors-based safety systems.

Two more machines of the same type will be handed over to CTSP later this year, increasing the operator's RTG fleet up to 24 units.
