FESCO has transported six Konecranes rubber tyred gantry (RTG) cranes from Ust-Luga Container Terminal (ULCT) to the nearby Port of St. Petersburg-located First Container Terminal (FCT).

The machinery - each 30 m-long, 12 m-wide, and 24 m-tall gantry weighing 132 tonnes - was transported fully assembled with the use of tugs and barges. It took FESCO three voyages to complete the shipment.

Last year, FESCO relocated on behalf of Global Ports four Liebherr RTGs from Petrolesport (St. Petersburg) to Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company (Port of Vostochny in the Russian Far East) using the Northern Sea Route.
