The Swedish ferry company Destination Gotland has become the first to draw electricity from the shore in the Ports of Stockholm's Nynäshamn.

The investment in the onshore power supply facility totalled some SEK8.0m (approx. €780k).

It will help the Ports of Stockholm reach its target of decreasing quay emissions by 25% over the 2019-2025 period.
