As of 26 October, China United Lines (CULINES) will start operating a route that connects London Container Terminal with Shanghai, Ningbo, and Yantian.

It will take 27-30 days for the 1,740 TEUs of capacity A Daisen to cover the westward leg.

It is Tilbury's first direct Far East Asia service.

The Port of Tilbury and its London Container Terminal are part of the Edinburgh-based Forth Ports.
