The Russian shipping company has secured a ten-year-long $110m credit for financing two ice-class tankers to serve the Sakhalin-1 oil & gas project in the Sea of Okhotsk.
The newbuilds, which are said to emit at least 10% less CO2 than the previous generation, are scheduled for delivery in Q1 2022.
The tankers will be chartered to Exxon Neftegas, operator of Sakhalin-1.
